The artist puts up several x-ray films on the wall and lay the motorcycle in front of the wall in order to make a 1:1 scale x-ray photograph. The shadow density of the image appears on the film depending on the degrees of light being blocked or going through. And the thin square lines are the edges of each x-ray film. It's a pity that he didn't print the motorcycle film into 1:1 scale and put it up on the entire wall which might makes it more fascinating and helps us to realise the actual spatial relationship between the motorcycle and the space.
The short film which made by these photos are also amusing. The artist first take several x-ray photographs of an object, a toaster, for example, then connected each photographs together to make it in motion. The 'toaster' showing in his short film is about toasts bumping out from a toaster. He destruct the toaster, took photos of each parts, then reconstruct these parts into a toaster in the film.
Windome, Yellow by Peter Sedgley
Tease by Kathy taylor
The display of this work is in a white wooden box attached on the wall. The soft light comes out from the bottom makes the piece looks peaceful. The tea bag dancing slowly around the teapot and this movement makes people in the exhibition stares it for a while and try to see whether the teabag will finally get into the teapot or not.
